About the 42 Apex NexGen-Hybrid

The 42 Apex NexGen-Hybrid is the flagship wood-burning zero-clearance fireplace from Fireplace Xtrordinair. Featuring a 3.5 cubic foot firebox that accepts 24-inch logs, it delivers up to 40,275 BTU with catalytic top-vent technology. Includes a charcoal door, 400 CFM blower, door tool, baffle, catalytic sensor, and 3-inch outside air duct. Meets EPA 2020 NSPS emissions standards at just 1.2 grams per hour. Choose from Metropolitan, Universal, or the premium Timberline face.
